| GW中に行きました。皆さんが書かれているとおりアットホームで気さくに話してくれす。私が英語が出来なくても身振り手振りでジェスチャーをしてくれたり、私が探したい店を一生懸命に探してくれました。場所は教会の裏路地でしたが幸いなことに直ぐにホテルがわかりました。空港から運転手は分かってたみたいです。しかし、ホテルへの道は浦通りの為、約100m歩いて行くしかなく、そしてこのホテルのチェーン店が３点見渡す場所にあるため最初は戸惑いましたが直ぐにわかりました。Splendid starhotel が正式名称でしょう。部屋は各フロアーに３部屋有りますが、なにせ細長のホテル真ん中の部屋に泊まりましたが、残念なことに窓が無かったです。そのせいか教会の大きな音は聞こえませんでした。朝食もついてこの値段でこの場所 なら絶対にお薦めです。この値段が低すぎると思うんでしたら、すぐ近くの系列のホテルで十分ですよ。 |

| Friendly staff, decent price. Nothing bad to say about it really. Room was clean, bathroom was smallish but again for the price there's no complaint there. TV worked, it wasn't a noisy location at night and the location was great. They allowed me to use a room to shower and change after going to ha long bay for a night - despite the fact I wasn't staying there afterwards - with no charge. Put me on the train and away I went. Would recommend to others. |

| Very good hotel for the price charged. Rooms are clean and reasonably spacious.
Also hotel location is walking distance most of the shopping and food restaurants.
Only down part is it is a located in a very narrow lane to which a Cab cannot go upto hotel door step, but rather have to get off at the top of the lane and walk down to the hotel. |

| Cheap and great location. Service is not the high standard we enjoyed in other hotels in Vietnam, no wifi, cleanliness was questionable, a bit dumpy. Also, we booked two rooms and we ended up with two couples in a family room. Not sure if this was fault of the hotel or the website we booked through. |

| Cet hotel situé en plein centre de Hanoi et idéalement situé pour qui veut aller du côté du lac Hoa Kiem, au spectacle des marionettes ou dans les vieux quartiers. Il est aussi relativement proche du temple de la littérature.
Enclavé dans de petites ruelles, le calme est assuré. Nombreuses agences aux alentours, y compris dans l'hotel pour organiser ses excursions.
Les chambres sont propres, simples.
Une mention spéciale pour son personnel dynamique, réactif, très à l'écoute de ses clients. Une question avant d'arriver ? Ils répondent à votre mail dans les 12h et s'ils peuvent vous arranger, il le feront |

| Met on arrival by very enthusiastic staff. Very happy and welcoming. We were greeted with welcome drinks and given an introduction to the attractions near the hotel, which they kindly marked on a map.
Then came the hard sell by the travel agent. Initially he came across as very pleasant when we told him that we would be taking a trip to Halong Bay. He started by showing us some very high end, expensive tours and when we didnt show interest more books came out and the tours got cheaper. We had already done our research on this so knew exactly which boat we wanted to take and the price we wanted to pay. When we told him this, he became quite aggressive, telling us that the boat we had chosen was old, and we would not enjoy our trip. When it became clear that he was not going to change our minds, he offered to book the boat for us. We conceded slightly and asked him to let us know what price he could get it for. The price he came back with was US$140 more than we could book it for ourselves. We therefore declined his offer. We then asked him how much a local tour would cost for our party of 4. He said US$50 each. We declined that also after which he refused to speak to us for the rest of our stay. I am not sure if he is employed by Splendid or whether he is employed by a travel company and is based at Splendid. Either way he let's down the rest of the staff who were absolutely faultless.
We left our bags at the hotel whilst we went to Halong Bay and they arranged overnight train tickets for us from Hanoi to Hue. On our return the staff were very pleased to see us, asked if we had enjoyed our trip (which we had) and made us tea and offered us fruits whilst we waited to leave. They didn't charge us either for the fruit or the tea. When we offered to pay, they said it was their pleasure to give it.

| Lähellä oleva kirkko herätti aamuisin 5:00 ja kadulta kuului muutkin äänet huoneeseen. Huonekalut jne. kuluneita, suihkun hana heilui, mutta siistiä ja ystävällistä hlökuntaa. Englanninkielen taitoiset pväsaikaan töissä, retket ja kuljetukset, kartat onnistui. Hintansa arvoinen.
Worth for the money. Clean and nice place. Not everyone from the staff spoke english even a bit. Church nearby woke us up every morning 5 am and you hear all the other voices from the street too. Trips and transport was like we wanted them to be. Kind and helpful staff. Some lights were broken in our room and shower wasn't newest one, but worked and did not bother us. Would recommend. |

| Cet hôtel très central, à deux pas du lac Hoan Kiem, est très accueillant. Le service est très professionnel et attentionné, la décoration (moderne et cosy) et le confort des deux chambres que nous avons successivement occupées dans cet hôtel à chacune de nos étapes dans la ville, et de la literie, en font une étape très agréable dans le tumulte de Hanoi . Tout le personnel est souriant et affable, c'est un vrai bon souvenir. Vraiment le choix parfait où nous retournerons sans hésiter si nous repassons par Hanoï et que nous recommandons sans hésiter. |
