Recent Holidays Hotel Review: "Small hotel in the in the heart of old hanoi. The rooms are ok. We got a room with two big beds so we used only one. Great space in the room, but no windows so you can look outside. We could open a window from the bathroom though. The bathroom was ok, but a bit run down. But it is Vietnam and the hotel is cheap. Compering to that the hotelroom was in great condition. You get an ok breakfast everyday that is included. You can choose between 3 menus what to eat. If you think about what you pay I must think you get a lot for your money.
The best thing about the hotel is that teh staff are so helpful og friendly.They book train, cyclos, any tickets for you for no og little charge. They make sure you pay the right price. This was the cheapest hotel we stayed at in 3 weeks in Vietnam and it was here we met the nicest and most helpful people in Vietnam.
The day we were living with train we asked if the could help us with a taxi. They called a taxi they knew and they paid for it. A guy from the hotel also followed us to the trainstation and all the way to our train car. We tried to tip him, but he said he did it for free. But after a little discussion he gave in and took it because we wanted to show how grateful we were.
Stay at this hotel in hanoi if you are not that picky. If you arepicky I think you have to pay more for a hotel because this is the best you can get for so little money."
